Howard H. Tarnoff VP of Sales and Marketing
Southfield, MI - February 11, 1999 - Advanced Systems International ("ASI")
(OTCBB: ADSN), a leading provider of enterprise software solutions,
announced today the appointment of Howard H. Tarnoff to Vice President of
Sales and Marketing.
In announcing the appointment, Gerry Pesut, President and CEO of ASI, said,

and experience in Time and Attendance and Middleware markets will enable him
to have an immediate impact on the business."
Mr. Tarnoff, a 20-year veteran of the time and attendance industry, was most
recently the Director of the Time/Data Systems Division of Simplex Time
Recorder Company. Under his leadership, the division grew at an annual rate
of 70% from 1993 through 1998, with an increase of the sales force from 12
to 113 professionals. Mr. Tarnoff has also held various product development,
marketing and sales positions with Kronos, Inc. This includes operating a
highly successful dealership that served as a model for the Kronos direct
sales and service organization.
