The positive thing about Exar is that its margin is increasing as it is able to shed some of its low margin low R&D storage business. However its stock performance has disappointed me for last one year (yes I am a patient but "getting frustrated" shareholder). Also Exar is buying back lot of its shares - I am not sure whether this is the perfect use of cash for a Hi-tech comapny in this research intensive field.
