The defendants chose to place their messages on SI, so why not notify them of the lawsuit via SI.

Folks, there are lots of meritorious and non-meritorious suits filed every day. The topic of the mentioned suit is not within my specialty, but the complaint is far too intricate and apparently well-researcched to be dismissed as a publicity stunt or a joke. In fact, there is no apparent reason why it would not advance into the disclosure and discovery phases. Three cheers for the lawyers who posted it and let's hope SI doesn't do anything to limit these types of messages from lawyers. It would be a tremendous assist to the already relatively sane and responsible atmosphere encouraging responsible posting on SI.

Oh yeah, don't bother looking at the profile, I'm a lawyer:-)

And I sure wish I'd thought of it first....
