Happy to see RLT on SI! Have been following this company closely from time it was trading on Canadian Dealing Network (pre TSE listing) and got in early. Sold some last year at $11-12 and no one was more surprised than I to see it fall back to $6.00 level. This is a reflection in part, I think, to the fact that RLT is largely followed by institutions (especially Sprott Securities) and is still relatively unknown to smaller investors.

It is one of my favourite companies to follow (and invest in)...the short and long term price appriciation potential is enormous given they have a very strong balance sheet, have recently expanded their plants and have large back orders on the books. Greg Van Staveren is their CFO and he is bright, forthright and accommodating to investor queries.

RLT should, IMO, return to $12.00 level once their 9 month results are published. This will be no later than Friday, March 12. We are looking here at a potential gain of 100% based on earnings growth and simply returning to a fair market price. If you examine their trading histories/volumes you will see it is sporadic to say the least. Just when you think there will be no trades in a day, Sprott Securities jumps in (as they did last week) and crossed 70,000 shares!

Enough said for now, I will bookmark this subject and share whatever info I can about RLT...but I would encourage anyone to do further DD, call the company and do it sooner than later since it is currently trading a tremendously deep discount and this won't last for long.

In the meantime, I have copied some info for those interested..the following links show their chart (notice the run-up that happens in March), together with their earnings releases from March/98 and July/98 (annual results) which are truly phenonemal. RLT is one of those rare companies you encounter that can reward shareholders with a short term 100% gain -- and they don't even have a .com behind their name!

Here are the links I've assembled.

Feedback welcome...
Cheers,
NOK
