Totally agree, I truly believe that they (anti-gun groups) want it both ways. They want to be protected from criminal behavior, that will always exist, regardless how far a society has advanced. I understand this, I don't want to be a victim any more than the next guy. However, they also have innate fear of loosing control, as well as the belief that the general public can't be trusted. I understand this also. However I don’t want to create our own little Animal Farm. The one thing I don’t understand is the argument for a certain class of citizens to posses firearms (i.e. the police/military) when the general public should not. By subscribing to such an argument doesn’t that in fact create a part of society that is more equal than the next.
What do you think?
