recent annnouncement of stock buyback by national amusements and redstone merely moving money around. interesting that redstone attempted to get an sec waiver that would permit him and or national to have free stock not locked up stock on the buy back. obviously their/his intent is only a short term manuver. sec denied request. one must carefully monitor cash flow and sales. not convinced that they are out of the woods--far from it. debt burden is heavy. sale of cable business was easy--always easier to sell best properties. harder to sell damaged goods.
