GTTIF has just released their first quarter results, ending Apr. 30, l997 (see news under GTTIF). Net income was $15.1m., or .82 cents a share, compared with a loss of $2.8m, or .14 cents for same period a year ago. Also, total amount of shares outstanding reduced approx. 2m. Company has been steadily been improving in all areas of business; could be a "sleeper". I have held for over 2 years and have seen during the last year, a low of 5/16 to a high of 1 1/4, since last July 96. Negative area includes three outstanding lawsuits against Co., caused by previous management, from approx.three years ago. Current management is really working hard to "clean up it's act". Annual general meeting to be held on July 7th., in Vancouver, B.C.
