Addition to Hot List

Aegon (NYSE:AEG): This Dutch insurance group is favored by two of the guru strategies John Reese follows. One of them, which is based on his interpretation of James P. O'Shaughnessy's approach to investing, likes AEG, in part, because of its strong cash flow. A company's cash flow should exceed that of the mean of the market's cash flow per share. This AEG easily does, as the market's mean is $0.81, while AEG's is nearly double that at $1.55. Also important is that the company has more outstanding shares than the market's average. The market average is 628 million share while AEG has 1.53 billion.
