U.S. Alcohol -2-: Says SAC Capital Bought $5.4M In Shrs
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (Dow Jones)--U.S. Alcohol Testing Of America Inc. (AAA), in response to inquiries, said it knows no reason for the purchase of 5.16% of its shares by S.A.C. Capital Advisors LLC.
In a press release, U.S. Alcohol Testing said a group led by S.A.C. Capital bought 1,221,700 shares between May 7 and June 27 for about $5.39 million.
In a Schedule 13-D filed July 5, S.A.C. Capital said it purchased the shares ''for investment.''
U.S. Alchohol Testing of America, Fort Worth, Texas, provides drug and alcohol employee screening services.
