To ALL: From the 10/5 San Diego Union business section: Foodmaker announced it will open Jack-in-the-Box restaurants in all 9 Fedco stores. For those unfamiliar with Fedco, it is a WallMart styled deep-discount superstore for state and federal employees. The ones I have been in are very popular and crowded. The deal is "signed, sealed and delivered" according to Foodmaker's CEO. The CEO also said they will be opening restaurants in at least 11 other nontraditional settings next year, such as gas stations. D. Kuspa
