Hi Ron, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but have been playing in the rockies seeing that 1. our summers are so damn short that I like to take advantage of every moment I can. 2. the way the market has been going on small caps I feel that it pays to ignore it for a few days and then be surprised
when you look again at it.
To answer your question honestly I would have to say that when I make decisions by the charts alone I do quite well (about 70%) BUT I am not that disceplined and I let some of the hype thats around influence me and then I screw up.
Some people tell me that if I stayed away from VSE I would do better, but you know I really enjoy the adrenline rush I get from it so i'm willing to loose some .hell you only live once and I'm not planning on leaving a large bundle when I go that they all can fight over . But seriously I believe that as long as you know the basic fundementals ie. amount in the war chest, what is the track record of management, & those sorts of things the rest can be decided by the charts.
For instance to try to figure who is shorting the stock & by how much is a waste of energy as being a small fish there is noway that I will get the truth anyways, thats just the way it is so I have to rely on myself (which I prefer anyways)
Talk to you later, Fred
