Message 15120660 ASC Avcan appoints KPMG as trustee in bankruptcy ASC Avcan Systems Corp ACN Shares issued 10,508,729 2001-01-31 close $0.23 Friday Feb 2 2001 News Release Mr. Ken Miller reports ASC Avcan Systems as appointed KPMG Inc. as trustee in bankruptcy effective Jan. 31, 2001. The company is in financial difficulties and is no longer able to meet its obligations. Projected cash flow from operations did not occur, sufficient investment capital could not be raised due to company debt and the weak equity markets; and alliances or investment did not materialize on a timely basis. For these reasons, the board has made an assignment pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. While this action has been taken, there are continued efforts to pursue alliances and investment to reactivate operations and reinstate the company. However, there are no assurances that these efforts will be successful. Wouldn't have even taken 5 minutes of dd to have figured this out long ago...
