SKYE ($12.50-$8 ? )Beats Estimates, Lowers EPS For Q3 17:53 PM EST, Jul 30, 2001 (MidnightTrader) -- Sykes Enterprises (SYKE) reported second quarter earnings of $0.07 per share on revenue of $123.3 million. This compares with earnings of $0.17 per share on revenue of $128 million in the same quarter a year ago. Analysts were looking for the company to post earnings of $0.06 per share on revenue of $128.9. The company also said that earnings in the third quarter will be between $0.03 and $0.05 per share on revenue between $105 and $115 million. Currently analysts expect the company to post earnings of $0.10 per share. Stock was halted and has not yet traded after trading resumed. Last trading data from Island below.
