Wayne, welcome to the thread!

After reading your thread, I spent some time looking into the up-time for a plant by asking the people who are marketing this technology. I was told that much was learned from the first few plants that were put online and modifications were made to some of the equipemt reference, dryers, motors, etc. However now that the idea of marketing these plants to cities and municipalites is becoming a reality, they feel that except for the few days a year a plant is scheduled to be off-line for routine maintenance, the systems will be reliable. Nearly all of the modifications and retrofitting was done to increase the economy and capacity to which these plants are now geared to operate. I keep looking for negatives about TTRIF, but I can't really find much. They seem to be controlling their rate of commitment and growth at a level they can effectively handle. I really find merit with that philosophy. However, if the story keeps getting better I may soon quit my job and go work for them!

As always...

Good Hunting

Paul
