Viability of Chimborazo project.The Lomas Bayas copper deposit, in the same region as Chimborazo with 283M tonnes of .36 Cu. is currently being developed into a mine. It is not considered marginal and is expected to be profitable despite the volatility in copper prices. Chimborazo thus far, has 264M tonnes of .60, with further upside potential. Reverse circulation drilling should increase grades according to Jack Marr. Also the mineralized zone (over 1000 meters leading edge) extends into the larger virgin property to the north.Negotiations are currently on for both surface and minerals rights, and am told it is progressing well (Sept.19,1997) Leonas Labenskas Regina Sask.
