The news doesn't seem to have hit the wires yet, but MRV filed an S-3 this afternoon for a split offering. 2 million shares are being offered by the company, and 550,000 shares are being sold by insiders. This doesn't seem like a "big deal" to me, but I don't think the market will consider the offering a "positive".
