Yes, I think that too. Or at least, a parade of shallow recessions punctuated by weak recoveries, lasting 3-5 years. That's why I've spent the past 18 months learning from people like Anthony@Pacific and Michail. I expect the short-oriented swing-trading style will be the one which works best for the next few years.

I'm pretty confident by now that I can consistently make money trading in that style, as long as I resist the temptation to swing for the big hit out of the stadium. Michail is a great example of somebody who had the stadium collapse on him a couple of times and then adapted to reality. So is A@P, although you wouldn't think that sometimes when you watch him in action.
