Father, I pray Your peace and comfort on Jerry Witorp in the recent death of his beloved wife. I pray that as he grieves over the next years that You will assure him that even in the depths of his despair and sense of tragedy You are still on the throne of power, glory and mercy. I pray that You give him hope and a sure knowledge that no matter how much he may feel otherwise, life is still worth living. Father, I pray that you will also extend this comfort and peace to all members of Jerry's family and his friends who will also be grieving over this untimely loss. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
