Jimmy,

>>Please, I don't want to hear from any Iomegans how great the Zip is. I understand
the market and I'm highly invested in Iomega stock. I may not like it, but I'm in this
market as an Investor, not a computer consultant.<<

Understood. Just one question concerning:

>>Yes, a 100 MB drive with a 29ms access time is shoddy..... If the majority of
purchasers do not know (in reference to SCSI), then you will understand why a
shoddy product has become the "standard."<<

Is the Zip more or less "shoddy" than the item it is supposed to replace (the 1.44 MB floppy)?

Jay

LONG on IOMG

P.S. weighing in on the # of Zip drives issue. I have 1, mom has 1, work has 2
(need more), co-workers have 4, boss has 1, bosses neighbor has 1, just for
starters. Tie ratio is closer to eight. Do have second hand knowledge (from
a reliable source) of a company that has 1 or more drives and uses gigapacks
a plenty!
