I was suspecting the criticism of european democracies was coming from americans. Italy and Denmark are far from each other, so is south and north Italy, Germany and England. Comparing it with Mexico and California was necessary, since Canada and U.S. is very similar, compared to how europeans countries compare. I like Italy very much and it's a very nice country. I had no intention of putting Italy in a bad light, it's just that the italians I know, they are often not very fond of the political system. Europe and the U.S. are two places on the earth, where we have real democracies. In different ways, but both are democracies. There's no idea in criticizing each others political systems, although I still haven't understood why I had to read about a girl named Monica L. in my morning newspaper...
