James: I've no actual expertise whatsoever, save what has been acquired through a life-long fascination with all things technical. I'm nothing other than a hard-working and exceptionally nosy "grunt". I have used a nasty set of tricks to try to stay on the edge of technology. I try to find the guys and gals who do have the real savvy in a given tech area and I threaten/ bribe/extort them into teaching me about what's going on. Nothing like grainy black and white pictures of my target experts in compromised situations to sharpen their teaching skills and extend their patience. (g) I also love learning about tech.
