Steve; Have you considered the reason for your surprise that the
major competitors aren't farther along. If not I'll give you a hint
they have held back to see if there is any profit in being a national
ISP. There are several that if they saw profit in it could run right
over AOL. You seem all horay and chipper now, but had you invested
last year in April you wouldn't have any thing to crow about, as
your money would have done better in a CD. AOL has been up before,
and if you look at her peak to peak..apples to apples..you may see
the stock has not been what you could call any shining star.
Right now she has price support by some underwriters, and the
shorts keep rushing her hence the underwriters who short themselves clip the other shorts enough to keep the price going up, when she
runs out of shorts and the underwriters don't have any more suckers
to play they will cash in. I hope you hold your shares then
as she will do her down turn, please don't run like a chicken when that time comes. You owe her your loyalty now. If you think she is up on her own merits.. that's a joke, and you got a lot to learn about
Wall Street.
