shalom and thread.. I think your key words are "if christians want to discuss these issues they need to be able to take dif opinions like you said" I operate in a climate that requires this. In fact I was one of compaq's first employees. we had a culture that required that issues be discussed fully and all points of view. It's natural for me to encouunter all these dif opinions on issues. In fact if a team was just la-de-da-ing to a solution ..we would stop and bring in others who would make sure that all bases were covered. Of course , we didn't have meetings when one person coluld just make the decision and go. But, we didn't hold grudges and there was nothing personal for voicing opinions. It was like crossfire that news show. There may be heated discussion during the show but then they go out to the movie together after the shows over. <g> Cpq also had a huge christian underground movement I have described here many times. It started with me and 1 other christian starting a prayer group and me and another christian starting a bible study and it evolved to thousands of christians meeting daily all over the campus in prayer and study groups. Everything from casting out demons in the parking lot at lunch to showing rapture movies in the compaq theater at lunch to a collective worship service at lunch with all of us... God is good and He is part of the reason for the miracles of cpq growth. I would like to close with..... "any staatment or postion I take is not to force anybody. It's an opinion. I do need for anybody to accept my opinion to be a friend and christian brother or sister." I generally will just want to know your knowledge of your position and if you are rejecting a position then your knowledge of that position and what elements you disagree with in detail and why. An acceptable answer is I don't even want to know the position I just don't beleive it. I'm not requiring that you even make sense. Of course if this is the case then I really don't need to discuss it. I'll discuss the Word..but I will not argue it. I do have signal that says don't discuss anymore . If someone says they under all the elements of a position and they don't then I prefer not to discuss it. I like to use three words allot "I don't know". It's the best answer in my book when you don't know. God Bless.
