Bingo.....I was conned into downloading Spyhunter but didn't take the bait and pay them for the removal of what they said they found. I uninstalled everything I could find and the next day searched again and found the exe file of Spyhunter. I dumped that also. Subsequent searches have turned up empty. But the closing door thing still bugs me...someone suggested it may be someone leaving an IM session but I don't instant message and don't have it turned on. I do spend a lot of time on SI chat groups. In all the Spyhunter links I didn't find any reference to the closing door sound.
