Which Moslem country, either its government or the people on the street, believes that Israel should exist? They all think that the land belongs to the Palestinians. How can one expect that the situation whereby Israel is given permission and freedom to develop nuclear technology for peaceful uses or defence but Iran is not allowed to do so can be maintained forever?
The ayatollahs ruling Iran certainly are evil persons, but we can and should remove the causes of the common people's resentment of the West.
1. Put Sadaam on trial for his crimes against the Iranian people.
2. Allow Iran to develop nuclear technology and institute world wide UN inspection of nuclear sites, not treating Iran as special.
3. As a first step toward ending Israeli rule over Palestinian territory, cease aid to Israel until it retreats to the 1963 situation. Encourage outmigration of Israelis to Europe, the Americas etc. Eventually the Palestinians should live freely in their ancestral homeland.
The German people would not have followed the monster Hitler had not the Versailles group exacted unpayable amounts from the democratic government of Germany in the period 1921-1933. We should not do analogous things now.
Stalin knew what he was doing when he pushed for the establishment of the state of Israel. He saw an eternal split opening between the Arabs and US-Europe, to his advantage.
