DOJ should go sue OPEC for antitrust and if Judge Jackson found them guilty, OPEC should be disbanded The US has no jurisdiction over OPEC. That would be like saying that an Islamic country should be able to sue Jack Daniels. or we are going to use B-52 bombing them to submission. This part makes no sense. We could, however, be less willing to provide arms and protection. We won't do that though because we need stability in that region, even if they do jack us around with oil prices occasionally. Don't worry. Cartels only work for a while and then the cheating ensues. When the members stop trusting each other they'll start believing the others are cheating and then they'll start themselves because the ones that cheat earliest reap the biggest gains (before the prices drop), sort of a Prisoner's Dilemma. We've already had a breaking of consensus when the rest of OPEC told Iran that they would raise production without Iran's approval. Iran must be feeling burnt, and the others must know it...
