JJ, I know I have enjoyed your posts as well, you have made some nice contributions to the BB IMO. (as have many others) It sure would be nice to be able to mark a spot on the ole calendar that Joe would have the company sold or a deal complete and be able to count on that happening, but I just don't see that as reality. To me, it doesn't much matter the date, just that it actually happens. What got me to thinking about how we often try to put dates to the completion of deals is that time and time again, Joe ends up doing something great for the company, but it often takes so much longer than expected, usually through no fault of his own(set dates go past replaced by new set dates) that by the time the deal is finished, the frustration level is so high due to all of the missed dates that the accomplishment seems diminished and that is unfortunate. Using exact dates also leads to attempts by some to try and trade those dates, so we end up with frustrated short term traders at times that like to vent here on the BB. I recognize that Joe Murphy being a driven individual probably uses dates and even NEEDS dates to pressure himself and others to accomplish a task as quickly as possible, and he fully believes those goals can and will be done within those dates. Of course Joe isn't the only one involved in these deals, there are these pesky rascals called Lawyers that get involved. (G) I think I have beat this dead horse about enough now. (G)

JJ, you aren't kidding about the increase in the number of notes on the BB. I can recall not that long ago we would sometimes have days without a single post, or just a handful of posts per week. Perhaps the increase in the number of DCI investors over time has something to do with this, but whatever it is I like it. New people add "flavor" and perspective to the BB. As you said, the only problem is it takes a little longer to read em all. (G)
