Andrew and all, Ligand is having a new 82,500 sq ft headquarters and lab building designed. This comes from an ad on page 2C in the 7/11 San Jose Mercury News. The ad is by their architects, Ehrlich-Rominger and lists six other biotech companies for which E-R is also designing buildings. Among them are Scripps, Thoratec and Heartport. The purpose of the ad seems to be to give E-R an opportunity to brag. E-R's phone 415-949-1300, e-mail careers@ehrlich.com So maybe Ligand is expecting to come into cash? GM
