I posted this back in April on another forum (RJK) but I believe the rationale fits for Antares. Substitute Antares for RJK and you get my point.

(For the Point & Click challenged I have cut and pasted)

I do not agree with you Tim. John performs a very valuable service. As I see it he effects the people running these companies and, even if only in a small way, makes them think twice. After all they are being paid to take care of our company. If they get up and make inspirational speeches about building shareholder value they should be held accountable. They are big people and took the job knowing that there are all kinds of Johns out there. These officials may claim that their salaries are not large but if you factor in the profit from shares I think most of us would take the job. And John is part of the job.

I have watched John's work on other threads and, while I do not always agree with the way he says it, what he says has an uncanny way of coming true more often than not. I'm always amazed he can sleep at night knowing that one day one of these guys will take it personally and sue him for liable and slander! You can't get much better evidence than being posted on a public forum with his name and email address attached. He's real, his name is John Melynk and he lives here in Calgary - email @cadvision.com which is a local Calgary provider.

Finally, do you really think people invest or divest in a company based solely on what they read on these threads? If you like a company you will dismiss John's posts as an unhappy person blowing off steam. If you sell because of his comments, you already had doubts and he helped you to stand up for your beliefs. That's a service. Tim, if you are not happy with RJK maybe you already belong to the second group. I think it's clear what group John belongs to. I notice no one from the RJK group has bothered to answer any of John's accusations. You know they have read them. Why no comments? I know, "don't validate ranting and raving by responding." Or maybe "Too close for comfort?" BTW he doesn't go away. He's the Energizer Bunny....tap,tap tap,tap
