Bob, I'm not trying to argue. I was just stating that there are some special cases and I happen to be one of them. For sheer mass and transfer rate, the newer SCSI standards still hold the lead. Access speed doesn't mean much when you're dealing with multi-meg or multi-gig files and RAID works well with SCSI, too. You are right on the other counts and I wouldn't invest in old tech either. George
