Chris, regarding open interest... The data you've collected can be particularly meaningful when comparing in-the-money calls and puts. According to your chart, itm calls = 11521, itm puts = 9574. For this reason, I've mentioned the possibility of an AM rally (visa-vis buy programs). However, ASND oi disparity is more or less noise. Traders often apply similar reasoning to index options in order to divine market behavior near expiration.
