IMO the DDI/IDO announcement of the EZweb enhancements to rival NTT DoCoMo's i-mode is very good news. The FUD fog is so thick even the brightest lights are hard to see. If EZweb does match i-mode's current functionality, the i-mode "virus" will have real competition from the CDMA base. DDI/IDO's CDMA migration to HDR/1xTREME will provide capability for animation and other features i-mode may not be able to match down the road.
