The Directional Pivot Point terminology does not refer to the new Bias Reversal Indicator or any new indicator that is forthcoming in future versions of GET, as far as I know (I do not work for TTI, but stay in close touch with some of the people there). Most of the commentary for the TTI charts is written by Andy Bushak these days, and as most of you know, he really likes the Gann work. So when Andy talks about a Directional Pivot Point, he is just referring to key vertical, horizontal or diagonal Gann lines or intersecting lines, or even 50% retracements that Andy really likes, that mark a potential turning point. If you examine closely any of the charts in which Andy mentions this new term, you'll generally see a portion of a Gann box to which Andy is referring. Andy isn't trying to confuse anyone, but he is the main marketing man for TTI, so you know he's got to come up with these fancy sounding terms! :D

Some of you may wonder who I am, since I've not posted to this board previously. You can see details about me and my newsletter at my web site (see URL below), but suffice it to say that I think very highly of GET and have used it for about six years now. I had intended to create a message board for technical traders, but just couldn't find satisfactory message board software. I see now that you all have a pretty good discussion board going here for GET users. I'll try to check in as time allows.

Anyone who would like to see sample copy of my newsletter, please feel free to e-mail me and let me know if you would like to see the e-mail version or the printed version. The e-mail version is about 600 kb in size and will take 2 to 5 minutes to download. You must be able to receive attached files (sorry, Juno users!). Registered GET users are entitled to 25% discount on the subscription rate. Forgive me if this seems like advertising, but I'll try to make up for it by providing some helpful input in the future. I see a couple of my subscribers on this board already and they can vouch for me.

Best Regards,
