That doesn't make sense though. When an investor wants to get out, they take a week or two. Dropping their shares in 1 hour has the result we saw, and you lose the bulk at a 30% discount. The funds would sell 20000 a day for a month, keeping a lid on the stocks upside but without trashing the downside. In fact, the thread has already noticed a persistant downward pressure every time the stock hit about 50. I can't believe a pro like Janus would drop their entire holding in an hour. This sounds like a forced sale of some sort, or (remember the put buying?) a more complex transaction of some sort. What was the structure of the convertible bonds again?
