If all the debt sitting in Japan defaulted vs. being supported in part by zero rates and banks which have been holding off such a flood of red ink (nationwide tolerance)......depression indeed.... how bout a financial Hiroshima.... add in the continued operating deficits of many of Japan's largest Kereitsu and there's not a pot large enough to piss your stock in.....

those folks are trying to go from the deming model and life time employment.....to the where the rest of the world has been heading for years (a la the USA).....but you can't change a culture or an operating culture overnite....unless someone else comes in a buys your pure Japanese company from the outside.... a topic on the minds of most Japanese Salarymen these last few years....
