Maxwell, another excellent post. Investors have to take a long hard look at Cymer's #1 position today and realize it will never have an outright monopoly in the laser field. As you stated, competition is very healthy for all concerned. You're absolutely right when you state that "the bottom line is that CYMI will always have the upper hand on their competitors because they were there FIRST." Can chip manufacturers afford to wait for the next technology to materialize when Cymer's has already gained acceptance? I do not think so. It's only a matter of time when CYMI will bounce back big time and make everyone wish they had invested in this company for the long haul.
