Not quite. McCain (and Bush) have been for bringing the troops home after victory is achieved, Obama has bee for bringing the troops home regardless of victory.


Well I don't know about that.....there has been no victory and yet Bush and McCain both are talking about bringing troops home soon.

If Obama opinion about bringing the troops home prevailed, the US would have been defeated in Iraq, then in Afghanistan.

I think McCain will (and should) hammer this issue from now until election, daily. Coded or not, the message should be:
"Obama victory = US defeat"


And I think Obama needs to hammer home that Obama doesn't care if American soldiers stay in Iraq for another 100 years and that McCain voted against giving American soldiers a raise last year.
