J. C. - I agree with your synopsis of the value of the world looking at ebay, however, I get a disturbing sense of technical malfeasance - an "attitude" that has more or less crippled ebay's performance over the last several months. A response email, sent to a loudly complaining ebay seller/shareholder, essentially displayed an attitude that they were on the cutting edge and that given the page loads they were handling, they were better at it than other sites like AOL or Yahoo. That is, in and of itself, highly suspect. IMO - the good news is the lull we are seeing is giving them breathing room to fix the problems - assuming they have a fix in the works. Mr. K.
