Thomas Jefferson is one of those unique California animals - a non-accredited private law school that people pay outlandish amounts of money to go to. I don't know how they are viewed inside the California legal market, but elsewhere their graduates aren't looked on very well, and I don't know any state that will allow a person from outside the state that graduated from one to sit for the bar. The guy's license is permanently stuck in California, he went to low rent school, and he obviously didn't get good enough grades to get TJ's generous tuition waiver for its good students. Plus, he blew a shit ton of money on foreign study.

This isn't a "woe for the legal profession" article, it's a "how not to go to law school and lose your shirt" article. :)
