It's a good point...the very first tiny group of cells cannot be called independent human life, it is in fact "potential human life." This is where the woman's life must be given consideration as well. Those few tiny cells of "potential" human life are at this point part of her private domain. Once the "potential" early cells have formed into a complete human baby, capable of survival without the support of the woman's body, it becomes a more profound moral question. IMO, civilized human beings can't condone abortion at this later stage. As long as the fully formed baby can survive without the woman's body, it could be called a separate human life. The Supreme Court should decide at what point a separate human life exists.
