What do you think he would say? He thinks Mr. Bills picture of Kerry is accurate even after seeing yours. Some are mean, some are just dumb and some are both. Its not that they are just mean and dumb. Some are smart and very partisan and are very anxious to protect there way of life to the point they will screw every one else. Its my experience that the places in this country that are the most ego centric and focused on the individual and less concerned about community tend to be the poorest. I believe all the attitudes expressed on this thread translate into the varying quality of communities we see throughout this country. Has it not struck you how the US has such extremes of wealth and poverty not just among individuals but between communities and between states? IMO there are reasons for those variations that go beyond the development of local resources and the benefits of certain geographic locations.
