Again, my "socialism" is a desire to equal out the taxes all of us in the MIDDLE have to pay for the people who don't pay any on the lower end, and the relatively few who have sheltered their wealth on the upper end, and don't take much "salary or income"...

If one adds the 400 wealthiest Americans total wealth (Forbes 400) I seem to remember it is about a trillion with a T.... but how much income do they claim every year.

When we add everyone else in the country who have income from $45, to maybe $500k or even a $million....and then add in the income at the top, doesn't it make all the middle incomes pay a higher percentage than they would ordinarily pay, if the top incomes were excluded from the middle group????

The top group can pay a higher tax. And I DON'T mean anything close to 90% .....If the middle income group pays 20-25% to the Feds, then maybe the top group could pay 30-35%...

Or even better....a 10% tax on every body in this country. With very few exclusions.
