A comment on revenue numbers...I am fairly new to this thread and prehaps I have yet to realize the "power" it has. I have read several cautions about posting "high" revenue numbers because the Street will then take these numbers as expected results. Am I to believe that Wall Street gurus are sitting around reading our posts and basing revenue expectations on this? Analyst Joe Blow goes to his boss and says, "Iomega is going to have revenues of $350 million this quarter". His boss says, "How do you know?" "Well", the analyst replies, "I read it on the Iomega thread. Some woman named Mary said so."

Come on!

I read this thread because I enjoy the comments and I learn more about the company. However, I take everything in with caution, especially the revenue and income numbers. Right now, only the inside executives and accountants know where second quarter numbers are likely to come in at. I seriously doubt that they are running to post those numbers on this thread. I think a lot of contributors to this thread are quick to leap to conclusions. If you literally took some of these comments to heart, you would think Iomega is filling for Chapter 11 in one comment only to find out that they are taking over Intel in the next comment.

My personal thoughts on this company is that the stock price is pretty high given even its expected revenue numbers. The daily chart is not all that encouraging. However, looking long-term, they have several great products and great promise. If they truly become an industry standard, the stock will continue to rise and will work out as a great investment. That's why I am taking the gamble and staying long on Iomega.

Regards,

Joe J.
