No; I've seen and used many different types of inspection equipment on aircraft but never anything like this. However I specialize in radio and RADAR systems on aircraft. I don't believe this is being used at my AFB. I know of most of the inspection techniques used for inspecting the airframe and watched planes being X-rayed, sprayed with penetrant, and have current passed though the structure. This is a new approach. (using sound)
