if this co. is going to be producing 1800 bpd by the end of
96(2 months from now) wouldn't a current price that is larger than their baseline (19$) be money in the bank . would the recent increase of west texas int. to 25.20$ make a big difference to a co. of this size? 2$ american per barrel times 1800bpd?

wasn't there an article of how the alta gov. is going to reap a large windfall due to the incr in crude oil prices?

or is this not the case? is it common for a co. to forward sell at a guaranteed price to proe=tect themselves. they don't get hurt so much in down turns but at the same time they don't benefit during sudden incr.s in price too.???
i can see that the price of oil isn't as relevant when figuring out the reserve value down the road but as a small producing company
...
