True but that's not the issue. The issue is we are in a ZIRP liquidity trap, and the only way out of that trap is to convince markets that inflation is going to be higher in the near future. Fed is in a war against K-Wave Winter deflation and in war there are casualties. Anyone stuffing their cash under the mattress is going to be a casualty.
