Jim, About the best I can say is that I sure wouldn't short them at this level. But, they are losing money in Dram and Sram and there is no relief in sight. They also jumped into Flash Memory at the top and will soon be losing money in flash, if they are not already. As they don't own the fabs, and are receiving govt. financing on most of their production, they are in better shape than many chippies. But, they also have much less financial strength than many of the large Dram, Sram and Flash companies, so I think their survival will come into question at some time during this cycle. And we are a long way from the bottom of the chip cycle. So, if you treat it like a gamble or an expensive option, it might be fun for a flyer. But don't put any serious money here. MB
