Thanks! "FED reacts to excesses and tries to make them stable" Bingo! Which is why options selling CTAs were making 40% per year levering off "Gaussian" markets. The Fed makes them Gaussian. Now you get 1000-s more participants wanting a piece of this pie. It grows. The next outlier is the big one. The bubble I am referring to is the enormous bet on the Gaussian, and that "outliers" will be eliminated. Not! The Fed will be. Which is what I believe is happening.
