I hate to call IOM as they will charge $14.95 for the call. (I guess I can look at this charge as helping to make profits and beat the Street's esimate. <ggg>)<<

Another question is have you downloaded the update to 1-Step backup? They recommend it for all users who have Zip or Jaz drives. I don't know if it will solve your particular problem, especially if the backup was done with an older version, but it's worth a shot. Also, you might try searching the Iomega website for answers to this problem.

On the other hand, what is your time worth? Fifteen bucks isn't really a lot for good support. And they won't charge you if the problem is Iomega's fault, unless the fix was already available online.
