Adobe hasn't really focused on Documanagement. There are really only two major mass offerings, Paperport by Visioneer and PagisPro by Xerox. The latter has only begun, and they dropped prices by 50 % recently probably due to low market share. Xerox BTW is supporting Paperport with its DocuCenters.

On technicals, Apple's downturn over the past 2 days is really the big money players lapping up the fears of the small guys with the big runup. Most big guys were not in Apple. The little people were so estatic about the rise, that they wanted to protect their profit, given the languishing over the past years. Plus the shorts trying to save themselves. All this is quite a natural phenomenon considering the runup. I see right now as a buying opportunity IF YOU HOLD MORE THAN A WEEK. Ironic isnt it. The stock is really a traders market under a week, with news pushing it in a very volitile fashion.

Newsweek's cover story was quite bullish. This should help the mass market, and confidence in the education sector.

Sincerely,

Ben
